Displayed above are a variety of elevations and exterior elements that in fact can be mixed and matched to form the basis of a totally unique custom home. These photos serve only as examples of what are endless possibilities. Of course it is important to note quality elements you see here, such as the six panel fir exterior doors and wood garage doors. Wood exterior elements such as these feature sturdy marine type finishes that hold up extremely well to the abuses of outdoor exposure.

Many things do remain constant values in the building of our custom homes. Special attention is payed to using high quality manufactured elements such as the Hurd® brand casement or double-hung windows displayed here. Our experience indicates that this brand works best with a Tim Kobler Custom Home because of tight seals, reliable operation, and overall high levels of fit and finish quality.

Use of best quality elements also extends to roofs and siding. Above are fine photo examples of the 25 year architectural grade shingles you'll find on most of our homes. Outstanding structural integrity along with a higher level of architectural appeal make this the preferred roof topping choice of Tim Kobler. Siding material is cedar.

As with our custom home exteriors, absolute attention to detail and quality apply equally to your home's interior. This includes the use of highest quality manufactured products in standard and optional applications. Seen above in this master bath (left to right) are the Mustee® shower base with door, Brakur® cabinets, and Oasis® whirlpool tub with Moen faucet.

As mentioned in the Exterior Architecture portion of the Showcase Gallery, Tim Kobler expertly identifies key elements and materials that make a home design fully successful. This is seen in all locations within a Tim Kobler custom home interior. Here we see a custom home dining room reach simple elegance with it's scalloped ceiling (standard), and drywall Wanes Coating (optional) installed beneath the upgraded chair rail.

Depending on floor plans family rooms usually include full masonry fireplaces with bookcases. The bookcases are standard and built and finished on-site to match similar wood tones throughout. Cabinets may be added as an optional feature.

These photographs indicate standard approaches to quality constructed elements in the custom home foyer. The well designed foyer makes an impressive welcoming statement while being practical in unifying and visually expanding the front of the home's interior space. All staircases are custom milled with an all stain finish being standard. The stain and triple coat paint combination is an optional approach to finishing the stair element. In the case of a combination finish the paint portions are brought to an extremely hard and smooth finish.

Expansive and inviting kitchens which may include dinettes are another integral part of successful Tim Kobler custom home designs. Cabinets are oak available in a variety of finishes based on the home owner's request. Pictured above are similar kitchen designs which may include the kitchen bay shown far left. The oak floor is always standard with a standard two coat or optional three coat hard poly finish.

Our custom home master bedrooms are always an excercise in thoughtful planning, beauty, and practicality. Above left is a dramatic tray ceiling accentuated with premium pine trim finished to match with other wood tones in this particular plan. Practicality is on display in the large master closet featuring wire shelves and easy access to the always handy laundry chute.

Pictured left is a Tim Kobler custom home sunroom featuring imported Mexican tile and vast amounts of light provided by high quality Hurd® aluminum clad windows. The den on the right also provides light and openess via Hurd® windows. The den's floor and walls are stained oak topped with a standard two coat poly finish.
